Autumn Crafts: Eyeballs
05 Oct 2010 Leave a Comment
The thing I don’t really like about crafts is the part that I have to buy a bunch of special supplies. Well, now I made the absolutely same crafts except used the supplies around the house!:)

Here’s what I did:
replaced the plastic ball for a ball of crumpled paper
drew the eyes myself
toilet paper or tissues for the “cloth”
Guess what? It looks better!
POW!!!

Hello!
I’m currently working on a story called the HORSE WHISPERER! Here’s a little summary:
Kestrel, a young girl with an old bookstore receives a strange book from a sorceress. The book is about the sacred Mesquite Horses. One day Kestrel finds a lost mesquite stallion in the woods. She has no idea that its her destiny to complete a long journey filled with hidden traps only to find that special frindship between a horse and a human.

The great art of stink bombs
09 May 2010 Leave a Comment
Have you ever tried to make a stink bomb? Well for a long time I have been looking for good recipes. In the end it all comes down to this:
What really smells bad?
- eggs
- spices when mixed with something
- what hides in a pet’s litter box ( had to say that one!!! )
4. the bark they put in backyards
5. wet bark
6. mud
It’s up to you to make a perfect mix of these ingredients in a container ( bottles are good. )
good luck!!

Disguise Master Course

Sometimes with people like me disguises don’t come easy. I mean like you aren’t going to walk around with a platinum blond wig and bright red lips. I mean seriously grow up! Don’t listen to any books (except maybe Kiki Strike) because guess what…… they aren’t going to help you at all! Something you need is a spy in the know, someone like me for example. And you have been very lucky to find me.
A good disguise is carefully constructed. Let’s start with hair. You have a couple options. First of course is covering your hair up with a hat or bandanna ( I am not necessarily saying it would work, I never promised you that…) Next you could go for a wig. I suggest using the Wigglary under here to determine what color.
Wigglary
If your hair is…
Blond(e) I suggest brown or red
Black- dark brown works well
Brown- Black or red
Red- brown, black
The golden rule is to never dye your hair. Doesn’t work if you need a switch of disguise quick.
Next part is easy; clothes should pretty much be unbright and shouldn’t say anything on it.
Best of luck to you,
Arlyn
